GENERAL INFORMATION The Harrison House is a conference center, so even though it doesn't look like your average hotel, it also has overnight accomodations. The information on this page can be found at The Harrison House website, or by contacting them directly:

The facility includes an indoor recreation and fitness center featuring an indoor swimming pool, separate whirlpool, racquetball courts, and an excercise room. There's also bowling (open until 11 pm) and a pub (open until 4 am). There are also lots of outdoor activities, but since our wedding is in March, it will be a bit chilly.
RESERVATION INFORMATION Here is some more information provided by the Harrison House regarding reservations:
- Call the reservations department directly at 516-674-2940. Make sure you tell them that you are coming for the Cross/Match wedding. We have booked a block of rooms at a discount rate of $99 per night. If you are given a higher rate, email me and I will straighten it out. There haven't been any problems that I know of.
- You can call as far in advance as you would like to make reservations, but the Harrison House suggests you call at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure availability.
- A credit card is required to secure reservations, and will be required upon check-in.
- Check-in is after 4:00 pm, check-out is 1:00 pm.
- Cancel Policy: If reservations is not cancelled by 4:00 pm on ariaval date you will be charged one night's room plus tax.

Exit 39N (Glen Cove Road) travel 5 1/4 miles north on Glen Cove Road to the fork in the road. Bear left and continue 1 1/2 miles to Brewster Street (Glen Cove Fire House will be directly in front of you). Make a right onto Brewster Street to the 4th traffic light (Dosoris Lane). Go left on Dosoris and continue one mile to Harrison House on the right.From the Northern State Parkway
Exit 31 (Glen Cove Road North) travel 6 1/2 miles north on Glen Cove Road to the fork in the road. Bear left and continue 1 1/2 miles to Brewster Street (Glen Cove Fire House will be directly in front of you). Make a right onto Brewster Street to the 4th traffic light (Dosoris Lane). Go left on Dosoris and continue one mile to Harrison House on the right.From the Northern State Parkway (Eastbound)
Exit 30 (I. U. Willets Road) turn right to Glen Cove Road. Turn left on Glen Cove Road, travel 6 miles north to the fork in the road. Bear left and continue 1 1/2 miles to Brewster Street (Glen Cove Fire House will be directly in front of you). Make a right onto Brewster Street to the 4th traffic light (Dosoris Lane). Go left on Dosoris and continue one mile to Harrison House on the right.Via LIRR
Take the LIRR Oyster Bay Line to Glen Street Station (note: NOT Glen Cove). From Penn Station, you will have to change in Jamaica. Visit the MTA/LIRR schedules website for information about train times. The local taxi company is Mid Island Taxi. Their number is 516-671-0707.From JFK or LaGuardia Airports
If you will not have a car, call Trans-Star Executive Transportation for car service. Their number is 1-800-894-7827. If you tell them you are going to the Harrison House, they will give you a better price.
